Contracts Compliance Manager



This position reports directly to the Contract Compliance Director and is responsible for commercial oversight and management of prime contracts.

This position is within the SNC Nuclear Development Contracts Compliance Management (CCM) organization. The primary responsibility of this position is to support CCM and Southern Company project personnel in assuring compliance with various engineering construction, procurement and construction agreements. In addition, this position will perform a variety of duties relating to the Commercial functions associated with the project and will provide a resource for various questions and inquiries associated with all other Vogtle related contracts.


  • A bachelor's degree in a technical or financial field is preferred. A graduate degree, or a professional certification is preferred.

  • Five years of utility accounting/finance/construction experience is required. 10 years of experience is preferred.

  • The candidate must have a broad experience base in Construction Project Management and managing commercial issues associated with large projects.

  • Prior nuclear construction project management or commercial management is a plus.

  • This position requires schedule flexibility – Meeting deadlines is fundamental to success in this role.

  • Maintaining relationships with all levels of the organization and external entities is crucial – team building and relationship building skills (peer and other) will be highly valued.

  • Up to 10% travel is required.
