Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor supervises the planning and implementation of all equipment maintenance activities for manufacturing and facilities equipment and machinery. They also engage heavily with project management & oversee major projects for the company. They own the training and scheduling of all maintenance technicians, ensuring there is proper experience and knowledge to service the equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that we achieve the level OOE (Overall Operation Effectiveness) targeted by managing parts inventory, preventative maintenance, and vendor support.

Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills):

  • Valid driver's license required.

  • Technical associate degree or similar certification is preferred.

  • 5+ years of equipment maintenance experience.

  • 2 years minimum of supervisory experience.

  • 4+ years of project management experience.

  • Local travel will be required weekly between facilities.

  • Ability to use Project Management/ERP Software.

  • Ability to write procedures and best practices documents.

  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.

  • Proven success working with all levels of management.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of electrical code.

  • Ability to read and understand technical documents and requirements.

  • Multi-tasking and prioritization of efforts

  • OSHA – Best practices including Lock out Tag out.

  • Extensive PM (Preventive Maintenance) experience

  • Strong electrical 110 / 480 experience

  • Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2

  • Experience in developing platforms for internal processes.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Train new and current technicians.

  • Review data and budget of maintenance program.

  • Work with manufacturing to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.

  • Project manage by establishing and maintaining processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks.

  • Structure and manage integrated, multitrack performance databases for digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projects.

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers.

  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.

  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This position will require standing, stooping, bending, and limited lifting of up to 50lbs. The work environment for this position will be a blend of conditioned space and unconditioned space. Limited local travel may be required that will change the work environment. This is an active manufacturing setting; at times it will be noisy, and equipment will be moving.
