The Project Manager Senior is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of medium and high complexity projects in support of the Technology Organization within the triple constraints of time, budget, and specifications. This includes directing the efforts of multiple cross-functional project teams, setting deadlines, communicating the state of the project with all levels of management, ensuring the projects stay on track and on budget, and adjusting if necessary, to meet new requirements. The position is responsible for leading an average of 3-5 projects simultaneously with an average cost of $500K-$1.5M for each project. The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the project including scope, schedule, financials, risks, quality, and resources utilizing industry best practices, techniques, and standards.


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing multiple medium/high complexity projects in a matrix resource environment, working with diverse project sponsors across multi-company and business units

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

  • Experience influencing and managing project teams without formal direct reporting relationships

  • Looking for a PM with broad range experience in managing various types of projects with various methodologies - Waterfall, Agile, Iterative, etc

  • Looking for a PM with experience in managing project in the following technologies (but not limited to) - SDLC Customer Application Development, ERP, CRM, Cloud Technologies and Services, Infrastructure, Telecomm, End User Technologies, Security, Big Data/Analytics, Mobility, Asset Mgt, etc.

  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

  • Comprehensive knowledge of PMI PMBOK based project management competency areas and methodologies and experience applying those methodologies to lead successful project delivery

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and experience leveraging these skills to interact with all levels of management

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills

  • High-level understanding of IT infrastructure and application architectures desired

  • High-level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Project

  • High-level of proficiency using Microsoft SharePoint and TEAMS


  • Develop and maintain all project manager deliverables throughout the project lifecycle

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives

  • Prepare project estimate based on scope of work and resource requirements and track project cost to meet budget

  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

  • Identify project risks, develop a project risk management plan and actively manage risk throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Lead and provide work direction to a project team to develop and deploy solutions in accordance with the needs of the project.

  • Serve as project communication clearing house for all formal project status reporting

  • Manage interaction between the customer, vendors, and the internal project team to ensure that appropriate relationships exist to produce positive project outcomes

  • Own the project change control process, financial, scope, and schedule management

  • Develop and/or monitor vendor deliverables in compliance with binding statements of work

  • Effective delegation of administrative work to Project Manager I as well as mentoring to lower level staff
